Welcome to the Creative Percussion Ensemble

It is our Mission to provide students 5-17 years of age, in East Bradenton, FL the opportunity to creatively express themselves through reading, writing, singing and playing percussion instruments.

About Us

Creative Percussion Ensemble is a non-profit organization that provides children 5-17 years of age the opportunity for students to creatively express themselves through singing, reading, writing, and playing percussion instruments. Creative Percussion seeks to reach out to a community of diverse backgrounds and provide a positive experience for children in low social-economic families. This program was established to bridge the cultural gap among a diverse group of children through music and provide a positive alternative to what the streets have to offer.

Our Services

Our services are free to the community. We recruit primarily elementary schools Manatee County. Flyers and registration forms are distributed in May to all K-5 students in these schools. We also hand out registration forms at the Cub Scout Christmas party and Big Brothers Big Sisters Christmas party. Every third Sunday at 10:30 am we perform at Rogers community United Methodist Church. During the church services children are encouraged to be a part of Creative Percussion Ensemble. When we perform in February at the South Florida museum, children are given an opportunity to fill out registration forms. The Big Blast Festival in April and the Farmers Market in May are two other performances where we recruit students. Our biggest fundraiser takes place in November where students collaborate with other local artist.
